A New Look at Breast Health

Thermography is a completely non-invasive breast health screening—no radiation, no compression, no pain. It uses a highly sensitive infrared camera to detect inflammation in the breast. Like a fingerprint, the “heat signature” of the breast is remarkably stable over time, and any change in that thermal fingerprint indicates that breast health problems are developing. Dr. Christine Horner, breast surgeon and spokesperson for the American Cancer Society says “it’s an incredibly useful tool.” In her book, she writes: “Research shows that, unlike mammograms, when thermography suspects something is wrong, it usually is. A study published in the American Journal of Radiology in January 2003 concluded that this technology could help prevent most unnecessary breast biopsies.”  For more information on the benefits of thermography visit: breastresearchawareness.com
